Imago Concept

The term "imago" refers to an unconscious image of familiar love, which is formed in early childhood based on our primary caregivers. This image influences our choice of romantic partners.

Unconscious Dynamics

Imago Therapy posits that we are unconsciously attracted to partners who reflect both the positive and negative traits of our caregivers, seeking to heal old wounds through our adult relationships.

Relational Space

The therapy emphasizes creating a safe and empathic relational space where partners can communicate effectively and understand each other’s perspectives.
